| Features & Benefits | This ELISA test is a qualitative serological assay for the detection of Dasheen mosaic virus (DsMV) in ornamental and vegetable leaves. DsMV is a member of the Potyvirus genus known for their non-enveloped, flexuous, filamentous virus particles. Severe symptoms can result from DsMV infection in some plants. Mosaic and leaf distortion are common symptoms in crops such as dieffenbachia. Dasheen mosaic virus infection can also result in yield losses of up to 60 percent in such crops. |
