Features & Benefits | This ELISA test is a qualitative serological assay for the detection of Onion yellow dwarf virus (OYDV), one of the causal agents of the Garlic mosaic virus complex, in allium leaves. All parts of the host plant are susceptible to infection by OYDV. Leaf striping and stunting are the common symptoms. In garlic, leaf mosaic may be observed. OYDV is a member of the Potyvirus genus known for their non-enveloped, flexuous, filamentous virus particles. |
